This first-person account from Dr. Leonard Streitfeld describes his thrill and terror as a B-17 bombardier flying missions over Nazi Germany in World War II. Dr. Streitfeld describes his experiences both in the air and on the US Air Force base in England where he was stationed. The book also touches on several unexplained events that spared his life during the war.
